Accion Labs is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support an AI Agent Governance Automation and Monitoring initiative. The role requires expertise in governance, risk, compliance, or audit workflows within regulated environments and strong stakeholder collaboration across Legal, Compliance, and Security teams.

The candidate will map current governance processes, translate policies into actionable requirements, and drive automation opportunities with a hybrid work model in key Indian tech

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in business analysis or related field.
• Experience with governance, risk, compliance, or audit workflows.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into system rules and testable criteria.
• Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Compliance, or Cybersecurity.
• Proven track record delivering Agile artifacts: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability.
• Strong process-mapping skills using BPMN or Visio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with UK/EU and US stakeholders.

• Conduct current-state assessments and map end-to-end governance processes with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on risk, volume, and clarity of rules.
• Define risk classifications and workflows for AI agent approvals.
• Develop business requirements, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Define AI agent inventory, ownership, and maintenance responsibilities.
• Establish KPIs like cycle time, automation coverage, and evidence completeness.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business needs to testing and validation.
• Support UAT, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of automated governance workflows.

Job Description: Business Analyst AI Governance Processes

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support an AI Agent Governance Automation and Monitoring initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, governance, risk, compliance, or audit workflows within a regulated enterprise environment.

The role involves analyzing existing governance processes, identifying automation opportunities, translating policies and regulatory requirements into actionable business requirements, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to streamline governance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct current-state assessments and map end-to-end governance processes with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Cybersecurity, business owners, and AI agent owners.
• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on process volume, effort, risk, and clarity of business rules.
• Define risk classification tiers and approval workflows for low- and medium-risk AI agents.
• Develop business requirements, user stories, epics, approval matrices, evidence requirements, exception handling procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Define AI agent inventory requirements, ownership records, and maintenance responsibilities.
• Establish and baseline KPIs, including process cycle time, automation coverage, review turnaround time, and evidence completeness.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business requirements through testing and validation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stakeholder alignment, and adoption of automated governance workflows.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• 6+ years of overall professional experience, including relevant Business Analysis experience.
• Hands-on experience with governance, risk, compliance, or audit-related workflows.
• Proven ability to translate policy or regulatory requirements into system rules, functional requirements, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Compliance, or Cybersecurity.
• Strong experience preparing Agile delivery artifacts, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability.
• Experience with process mapping using BPMN, Microsoft Visio, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with UK/EU and US stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GRC or workflow platforms such as ServiceNow, Archer, OneTrust, MetricStream, or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with third-party risk management or vendor risk assessments.
• Experience in financial services, fund administration, asset servicing, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Power BI and KPI/dashboard definition.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence or Azure DevOps.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid work mode.
• Candidates based in Pune, Mumbai, or Bangalore.
• Daily overlap of 34 hours with UK/EU business hours.
• Occasional calls with US East Coast stakeholders.

Important Note

Prior experience in AI governance, technical expertise in AI/ML, and a legal qualification are not mandatory. The primary focus is on strong Business Analysis capabilities and governance, risk, compliance, or audit workflow experience.
