Job summary

Amazon India Limited is seeking a Business Analyst for the RBS ARTS (Automation Reporting and Tech Sciences) team. You will own the production and delivery of reports, dashboards and tools used by leaders to drive decisions impacting customer and selling partner experience.

The role involves creating and improving metrics, using SQL/ETL, Tableau, and Quicksight to convert data into actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience

Business Analyst, RBS ARTS (Automation Reporting and Tech Sciences)

We are looking for a customer-obsessed innovator, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a focus to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize work. A Business Analyst will own the production and delivery of a suite of reports, dashboards and tools used by leaders to take decisions that impact customer of selling partner experience.

Key job responsibilities

1. Create, support and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations
2. Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like Quicksight/Tableau
3. Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance
4. Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages
5. Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities

A Business Analyst will use the following tools

• SQL (Oracle and Redshift)
• Excel Advanced VBA
• Tableau/Quicksight
• Report scheduling tools (internal)

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Tableau
• Experience using very large datasets
