We help fashion retail businesses make better decisions using real data rather than relying on guesswork alone.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern who is confident with Excel and has a strong ability to identify patterns and trends in data. This is a core role for ForesightFlow, where you will work with real client data, conduct analysis, prepare reports, and contribute to growth strategies for fashion retail businesses.

Your work will directly support the reports, insights, and recommendations we deliver to our clients.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analyze sales, product, inventory, and financial data across the complete datasets of our clients.
2. Identify patterns and trends across product categories, seasons, and time periods.
3. Analyze customer buying behavior and identify factors driving growth or decline within different categories.
4. Prepare clear, well-structured, and easy-to-understand reports from raw data.
5. Translate data analysis into simple business insights and actionable recommendations for retail owners.
6. Research the fashion retail market and identify potential growth strategies for clients.
7. Develop data-driven recommendations related to pricing, discounting, bundling, and inventory decisions.
8. Work closely with the Business Analyst and Fashion Strategist to align findings with client objectives.
9. Support the team in preparing client-ready reports and presentations.
10. Work with SQL databases, when required, to extract, organize, and analyze data.
11. Maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports, analyses, and data points.

Other requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Business Analytics, Business Studies, or a related field, including BBA, B.Com, BMS, MBA, or similar qualifications, are preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is a must. Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights from data.
• Ability to think logically and break down business problems into data-driven terms.
• Good written communication skills, with the ability to present analysis clearly and concisely.
• Genuine interest in research, business analysis, and strategy.
• Interest in the retail or fashion industry is a plus but not mandatory.
