Job summary

Arges Global Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for Banking/Financial Services. The role involves gathering requirements from Treasury, Risk, Finance and Operations, and preparing BRD/FRD, user stories, and functional specs.

You will perform gap analysis, map processes, and support SIT/UAT and production rollout processes. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with SQL and data analysis, and exposure to regulatory reporting systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Treasury, Risk, Lending, Finance or Regulatory Reporting.

Role & responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance and Operations to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories and functional specifications.
• Perform gap analysis, process mapping (As-Is / To-Be) and impact assessments.
• Support system implementation, SIT, UAT and production rollouts.
• Collaborate with technology teams, vendors and business users to deliver digital transformation initiatives.
• Analyze data, reporting requirements and system interfaces to drive process improvements.
• Support regulatory, risk and treasury-related projects within the banking domain.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of Treasury, Risk, Lending, Finance or Regulatory Reporting domains.
• Experience in any of the following areas: ALM, IRRBB, FTP, IFRS9, ECL, Liquidity Risk, LCR, NSFR, Basel III, Credit Risk or Treasury Transformation.
• Hands-on experience in Requirement Gathering, BRD/FRD, Gap Analysis, UAT and Stakeholder Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exposure to SQL and data analysis.
• Experience working with banking products such as Loans, Fixed Income, Treasury Products, Risk or Regulatory Reporting systems will be preferred.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, CBAP, CSPO or Scrum certifications are an advantage.
