Job summary

Quantasis in Mumbai is seeking a Business Analyst Sales Analytics to support Vietnam business projects and other regional needs. You will bridge Sales/Commercial teams with Technology, translating requirements into actionable specifications and ensuring timely delivery of SQL and Power BI analytics solutions.

The role requires 2+ years of experience in Sales Analytics/BI, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Business Analysis, Sales Analytics or BI.
• Experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods or similar.
• Strong SQL for data extraction, analysis.
• Strong Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from Sales/Commercial stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and user stories for dev teams.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, analysis, reporting.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for sales performance.
• Collaborate with developers/IT to ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Conduct UAT and validate solutions against requirements.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities.
• Provide data-driven insights for sales decision-making.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst Sales Analytics to join our team in Mumbai. The role will primarily support Vietnam business projects, with opportunities to work on other regional projects as required.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between Sales/Commercial business teams and Technology/Development teams, translating business requirements into actionable functional specifications and ensuring timely delivery of SQL and Power BI-based analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, understand, analyze, and document business requirements from Sales and Commercial stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and clear requirements for development teams.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for sales and business performance tracking.
• Work closely with developers and IT teams to ensure solutions are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, business opportunities, and performance insights.
• Support stakeholders with data-driven insights for business and sales decision‑making.
• Maintain proper documentation for dashboards, reports, business requirements, data definitions, and processes.
• Coordinate across business and technology teams to resolve requirements, data, and reporting‑related issues.

Must‑Have Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Sales Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related role.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, or similar consumer-facing industries is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including queries, joins, data extraction, filtering, and data analysis.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, visualization, and reporting.
• Proven ability to independently gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Experience working closely with developers, IT, and technology teams to deliver analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Good to Have

• Experience working with sales and distribution data, including Primary Sales, Secondary Sales, Distributor, Retailer, or Channel data.
• Understanding of ETL / data integration processes.
• Experience migrating Excel-based reporting to Power BI / BI platforms.
• Exposure to international or regional business projects.
• Understanding of sales KPIs and commercial performance reporting.
