Job summary

TecQubes Technologies in Mumbai is seeking a mid-level Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience to work on pharmaceutical and life sciences projects. Role Summary

We are looking for a mid-level Business Analyst with 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and system integration projects within the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain. The ideal candidate should have experience working with regulated pharma business processes and enterprise systems such as LIMS, QMS, MES, ERP, ELN, CDS, SDMS or laboratory/instrument systems.

The role requires a strong understanding of how pharma business processes operate across Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, RD, Laboratory Operations, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Master Data functions. The candidate will work closely with business users, IT teams, validation teams, vendors and implementation partners to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, process flows, integration requirements and system specifications.

Required Skills Experience

Mandatory Skills

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, System Analyst or Process Analyst.


• Experience working in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotech, medical devices or regulated manufacturing domain.


• Strong understanding of pharma business processes, preferably across laboratory, quality, manufacturing or RD functions.


• Experience in system integration projects involving business process mapping and data flow documentation.


• Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder workshops, BRD/FRD creation, functional specification preparation and UAT support.


• Ability to document system interfaces, data mapping, validation rules, integration scenarios and exception handling requirements.


• Strong understanding of SDLC and project delivery lifecycle.


• Good knowledge of testing processes including SIT, UAT, defect tracking and business sign-off.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with business users, IT teams, QA, validation teams and vendors.


• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LIMS platforms such as LabWare LIMS, LabVantage, STARLIMS, SampleManager or equivalent.


• Experience with pharma systems such as QMS, MES, SAP QM, SAP MM, SAP PP, ELN, CDS, SDMS, TrackWise, Veeva, MasterControl or document management systems.


• Exposure to instrument integration, laboratory automation or QC lab workflows.


• Experience in GxP / GMP-regulated system implementations.


• Understanding of CSV / CSA documentation and validation lifecycle.


• Familiarity with data migration, master data setup, interface testing and reconciliation.


• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.


• Basic understanding of APIs, middleware, ETL, SQL or reporting systems will be an added advantage.
