Job summary

HP Development Company, L.P. in India is seeking a Business Analyst to generate and maintain internal and external reporting for Priority Services customers and to contribute to automation and improvement projects.

You will collaborate with CDMs and SOMs, ensure data quality, analyze trends, and support ETL initiatives using Excel, Power BI and SQL.

Qualifications

• Typically, a bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain reports, scorecards, etc. in accordance with the business needs.
• Providing proper data quality control.
• Analyzing trends in reports, scorecards.
• Analyzing root causes influencing operational excellence KPI's.
• Giving recommendations based on analyzed data on how to progress, optimize or evolve internal business processes.
• Ensuring proper follow-up with partners and HP management if necessary.
• Closely collaborating with the Business Analyst Team, CDMs and SOMs.
• SharePoint activities in regard to the business needs.
• Identifying issues and areas for improvement. Work under own initiative and take ownership of issues, ensuring best in class support and improvements.
• Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) automation initiatives.

Job Scope/ Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst are to provide internal and external business critical monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting for Priority Services customers. In addition, to contribute and enhance the reporting and analysis activities of the Priority Services accounts data and information as well as to the automation and improvement projects driven by the team.

Job Specifics/Responsibilities:

• Generating and maintaining reports, scorecards, etc. in accordance with the business needs.
• Providing proper data quality control.
• Analyzing trends in reports, scorecards.
• Analyzing root causes influencing operational excellence KPI's.
• Giving recommendations based on analyzed data on how to progress, optimize or evolve internal business processes.
• Ensuring proper follow-up with partners and HP management if necessary.
• Closely collaborating with the Business Analyst Team, CDMs (Customer Delivery Managers) and SOMs (Service Operations Manager).
• SharePoint activities in regard to the business needs.
• Identifying issues and areas for improvement. Work under own initiative and take ownership of issues, ensuring best in class support and improvements.
• Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) automation initiatives.

Key Deliverables/ Accountabilities:

• Business reviews are produced and delivered on time.
• Processes are documented and recorded where relevant.
• Analyzing activities contributing to KPI improvement.
• Support automation initiatives.

• Priority Management Customers, Partners

Education & Experience Recommended

• Typically, a bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience.
• May include highly experienced individuals performing entry-level equivalent work who are non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.
• 0-2 years' experience in a similar role.

Other requirements:

• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Fluency in other European languages is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and summarizing skills.
• Very good communication skills - outgoing, natural communicator.
• Adherence to strict timelines.
• Proactive in highlighting issues.
• Good presentation skills, Detail oriented person, Team player.
• Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team.

Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):

• PC Knowledge: Excel, Databases, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong Excel skills - Macro creation, Power Query.
• Strong Power BI skills - data modeling, DAX language, etc.
• SQL programming skills.
• SSIS package management - creation and management of scheduled ETL procedures.
• Knowledge of ITIL Foundations is a plus.
• Share point creation and management.
