Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Digital Engagement and Automation Team in an onsite capacity in Chennai. The role focuses on applying an intermediate level of business analysis to solve moderately complex issues and guiding projects with informed input.

You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, support Salesforce.com deployments, and help improve processes. Strong communication and QA practices are essential for success.

• Collaborates with business stakeholders to keep tools at the leading edge of innovation.
• Oversees Salesforce.com implementation within Services and evaluates technology solutions for value and efficiency.
• Performs solution testing and supports user acceptance testing for deployments and enhancements.
• Identifies process challenges and implements data corrections or enhancements.
• Works with users to develop processes or changes to use the software effectively.

Job Description:

Applies intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems of moderately complex scope. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and project direction input. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Participates as a member of the Digital Engagement and Automation Team.
• Applies technical knowledge to operate and administer infrastructure or software platforms and user groups of moderate complexity.
• Partners with members of a given team or other IT teams as appropriate. Identifies potential escalations and proactively alerts management.
• Partner with stakeholders in the business to ensure that our tools are on the leading edge of innovation and ahead of our competition.
• Provide technical requirements and oversee implementation of Salesforce.com within the Services organization.
• Provide recommendations on technology business solutions with a focus on driving value while optimizing and streamlining the technology solutions and processes supporting the Services organization.
• Conduct solution testing and assist with user acceptance testing for implementations and enhancements.
• Identify process challenges and implement appropriate data system corrections or enhancements.
• Work with users to develop necessary processes or procedural changes to accommodate the software application as needed.

Education and Experience Required:

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Math, Physics or comparable technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SFDC, Product and Entitlement systems.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Data architecture process understanding and implementation.
• Strong initiative, problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills. Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity. Possess creative ability, credibility and self-confidence.
