Qualifications

• 4+ years of consulting/BA experience, with a focus on data projects.
• Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft/Google Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Competent with JIRA, Microsoft Visio and other project management tools for managing and documenting business needs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, sprint planning, product backlog grooming, story estimations, etc.
• Well-developed industry expertise in the property and casualty domain.
• Working experience or understanding of local and international regulations in the BFSI sector.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Experience in data modelling techniques (e.g., relational, dimensional)
• Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices
• Ability to lead a team with a sound work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and exceptional client service
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts

Responsibilities

• Documents the detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
• Ensures that requirements align with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Helps in identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements in BFSI engagements.

• Documents the detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
• Ensures that requirements align with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Helps in identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements in BFSI engagements.
• Competent in data analysis and presentation using a variety of software platforms, including Power BI, Excel, Snowflake, etc.
• Collaborates with data engineers and architects to define data models and ensure data quality.
• Participates in data mapping exercises to understand data flows and relationships.
• Develops and maintains data dictionaries and metadata documentation.
• Conducts user acceptance testing (UAT) for the projects.
