Job summary

Synechron is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive requirements, align business and technology, and support transformative initiatives. You will gather, document, and validate needs, and collaborate with leadership to shape solutions.

Contribute to domain consulting, stakeholder management, and solution design, while participating in Agile ceremonies and ensuring delivery of requirements with quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Consulting, or Functional Analysis roles.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe are preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in Business Analysis and Domain Consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Business Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with business users and leadership teams.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, and Functional Specifications.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend business process improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.

Domain Consulting

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned domain.
• Provide strategic recommendations and consulting inputs to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze industry trends, business challenges, and regulatory requirements to propose effective solutions.
• Support business transformation and digitalization initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, architects, developers, and testing teams.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management and clients.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Support solution design by providing functional expertise and business insights.
• Review system capabilities and assess impacts of proposed changes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
• Ensure business requirements are delivered as intended.

Testing & Implementation

• Support UAT planning, test case preparation, execution, and sign-off.
• Assist in defect triage, issue resolution, and change management activities.
• Support production deployments and post-implementation reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Business Analysis and Domain Consulting.
• Expertise in requirement gathering, process modelling, and solution assessment.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, MS Excel, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of process improvement frameworks and business transformation initiatives.
