Job summary

Accenture is looking for a Business Advisory Analyst in Sourcing & Procurement to help clients optimize spend, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships for quality and cost efficiency.

You will handle Ariba back-office activities, PR approvals, and data reporting with Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders across teams. The role may include rotational shifts and is located in Chennai, India.

What would you do?

Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Sourcing & Procurement involves identifying, acquiring, and managing the goods and services an organization needs. This role includes researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing materials. It also involves ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The goal is to support the organizations operations by obtaining the best value and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Understand when & how to use a request for proposal (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only) and how to develop, execute and analyze the results. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers.

What are we looking for?

• Handles end-to-end Ariba back-office procurement support activities
• Performs PR approvals and deletion of abandoned PRs
• Resolves exceptions to enable timely PO closure
• Addresses supplier-related PO issues and coordinates with stakeholders for resolution
• Manages user access requests through ServiceNow
• Maintains and updates Ariba user master files
• Updates Relationship Owner details for transferred or terminated employees to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Prepares and submits monthly accrual reports to the Accounts Payable (AP) team
• Ensures efficient procurement workflows, strong data integrity, and effective issue resolution
• Drive SLA/KPI adherence, root cause analysis of delays or errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on procurement metrics and present to leadership.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement policies.
• Facilitate training for new joiners and existing team members.
