Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services in India Bengaluru seeks a senior professional to lead teams of Analysts and Advanced Analysts, delivering client service for U.S. trust tax returns (1041).

Reporting to Assistant Manager/Manager, you will coach others, manage resources, and drive timely, accurate returns while controlling costs and budgets. You will build long-term client relationships and seek opportunities to expand work for EY globally.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. trust (1041) returns.
• MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
• Formal education in commerce/finance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge relevant to U.S. trust (1041) returns.
• Drive the tax return preparation process, review complex tax returns and other tax deliverables.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues.
• Explore opportunities to bring more work to the GDS and to EY by consistently providing high quality work.
• Supervise day to day operations and engagement milestones with little or no manager involvement.
• Demonstrate leadership skills in developing the highest performing teams.
• Help Senior Managers and Managers with advisory and ad-hoc projects.
• Develop engagement and financial management skills by managing own and/or other’s impact on project economics, including controlling costs, monitoring budget to actual differences.
• Contribute process improvement ideas leading to higher quality service delivery to the client or greater efficiency in the compliance process.
• Identify opportunities to leverage information and resources across assignments and teams.

A senior should be able to lead teams of Analysts and Advanced analysts and be responsible for client service delivery for a particular geography, area or specialization. Reporting in to a Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager, they will assist the management team in developing and coaching team members as well as ensuring that resources are deployed effectively

• Drive the tax return preparation process, review complex tax returns and other tax deliverables
