ROLE PURPOSE

DAZN holds broad spectrum of premium sports rights including UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Premier League, Japan’s J League, Formula 1, Moto GP, NFL and many fight sports. We deliver on average approximately 1200 sporting fixtures to our customers across the globe every week.

Your industry knowledge along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills will put you in position to play a fundamental role in our Presentation Ops team.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the editing of recorded fixtures, updating the metadata and uploads for their repeat transmissions along with monitoring of some key events.

Our Presentation Operations Team is very much at the heart of DAZN. So, your positive, creative attitude along with some strong collaboration skills will play a key part towards galvanising and developing our growing department. We thrive on staying at the forefront of the industry, so you’ll need to be a bit of a chameleon too in order to adapt to regular changes in business needs, cultures, conditions and work responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Metadata entry and maintenance for all interstitial content into WON
  • Maintain delivery list of interstitial assets, promos, menus & filler, legal assets etc.
  • Ensure all content is delivered weekly, updating regional teams for missing/failed content for both short form and long form content.
  • Assist in weekly delivery calls for asset delivery – Promos + Half-Time Editorial.
  • Build of OTT playlists for Transmission, running BAS rules and performing issue checks, managing issues reported and export of playlists
  • Re-sequencing the junction items if required
  • Comply & validate the transmission formats to meet regulatory and other scheduling requirements
  • Deliver complete and accurate transmission formats to business-driven deadlines
  • Move Presentation Guides to correct folders within SharePoint
  • Work closely with the Presentation Coordinators to fulfil business requirements
  • Change management of required updates
  • KPI capture to be completed daily and ad hoc when requested
  • 7-month lookahead of up-and-coming fixtures, adding to Jira board as required
  • Creation and delivery of Commercial Formats
  • Monitoring of output of Broadcast Events as required
  • Recordings – Managing recordings – trim, edit and export
  • Report incidents.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Knowledge of broadcast technology including playout, video and audio encoding
  • Experience working in a Broadcast TX/MCR would be beneficial
  • Motivation, commitment, enthusiasm and drive.
  • Experience in a broadcast environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, prioritising workload where required.
  • Good understanding of the sporting landscape, and willingness to keep up with the latest news and thirst to learn more about sports you may not be as familiar with.
  • Strong computer skills across Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.
  • Interest in content production for multi-platform distribution.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and individually.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, cultures, conditions and work responsibilities.
  • Experience of working 24/7 shift patterns.
