Job summary

Sundaram Home Finance Limited is seeking a Branch Support Officer (BSO) to assist in post-disbursement processes across PAN India. The role requires handling documentation, deposit timing, and asset tracking with a focus on compliance and customer experience.

The candidate should have 2+ years in home loan sales or related finance products, good communication, and the ability to build internal and external relationships. Graduation in any discipline is acceptable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in selling of home loan/non home loan/construction finance products/related companies preferably.
• Sound understanding of home loan products.
• Market understanding including products/policies of competitors.
• Excellent communication skills with a reasonable proficiency in the local language.
• Proven ability to develop and manage networking/relationship internally and externally.
• Demonstration of high degree of perseverance and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all post disbursement activities with minimal customer escalations.
• Ensure all documents are scanned for login and tracked per checklist.
• Maintain and update presdisbursement checklist and ensure documents available.
• Deposit cheques and cash within banking hours of the next working day.
• Maintain cash scroll and cheque balance register; record exceptional reports.
• Coordinate stationery, courier handling, and maintain related registers.
• Maintain asset registers and assign asset codes; ensure statutory remittance is on time.

Position description: Responsible for necessary documents are available as per organization standards and support in smooth post disbursement process.

Primary Responsibilities

Branch Support

• All post disbursement activities to be completed without any major customer escalations, Docket release wherever Legal officer not available
• To ensure all documents are scanned for login.
• To ensure that all relevant documents are available as per predisbursement checklist
• Cheque and Cash to be deposited with in the banking hours of the subsequent working day,
• Maintenance of Cash scroll and Cheque balance register, passing necessary entries for all exceptional reports sent by Corporate Finance & Accounts Tea
• Follow-up for stationary items, Courier handlings both inward / outward and maintaining registers for the same.
• Maintaining asset registers and to get a proper asset code whenever a new asset has been placed in the branch. Statutory display to be updated. All applicable statutory remittance to be made on time.
