Job summary

SATYA MicroCapital is seeking a Trainee Branch Manager/Branch Manager in India (Maharashtra). The role focuses on achieving branch targets, coordinating weekly centre meetings, forming groups, conducting QT tests, and ensuring timely loan processing and dispatch to HO.

The candidate will oversee loan documentation, cash management, and field activities including SCVs, while mentoring new staff and maintaining branch discipline.

Qualifications

Proven work experience in operations at branch level/higher.
Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
Sound understanding of lending procedures and MFI sector.
Should be open for relocation and traveling.

Responsibilities

To ensure weekly, monthly and quarterly achievement of branch targets/EDOs targets concerning various products
To ensure conducting of timely centre meetings across the branch
To ensure new group formations and member additions to set up ideal sized groups (13.5)
Conducting timely and proper Qualifying Test (QT)
Execution of loan documents and maintenance of loan file.
To ensure timely dispatch of loan files to HO (by 10th of every month without fail)
Timely Loan booking.
Conducting Surprise Centre Visits (SCV): To conduct such visits, be prepared with certain guidelines to be followed during SCVs. At least 2 SCV daily and cross check all the disbursed loans within a quarter through SCV
Cash Management till approved limit
Ensuring Loan Utilization Check as per established norm through cross- check (25% of LUC done by EDO)
Mentoring of New EDOs/SOs (Through constant training, handholding and motivating them)
To ensure proper work culture, asset maintenance, efficient cash management and register maintenance
To ensure processes of client selection as per determined rules and guidelines of Company
To ensure at branch complete adherence to policies and codes of conduct
Conducting Efficient Review Meeting (Review the day work and plan the next day, (ECS checking, filing, packing, Proper Planning, route planning, Branch Performance Analysis))
Team Building Activities (Getting an informal get together with staff once when there is spare time)
To maintain cleanliness and hygiene at branch premises.
