Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a finance professional to support hedge funds and private equity fund reporting in Gurgaon. You will review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and prepare NAV-based monthly financial packages including asset and liability statements and P&L.

Responsibilities include accruals for fund income/expenses, capital activity processing, pricing, cash management, and bespoke client reporting. Strong attention to accuracy and accounting standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hedge funds and private equity fund reporting.
• Ability to review NAV, P&L and financial statements.
• Proficiency in accounting standards and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Review booking journal entries based on bank statements and client data.
• Review bank reconciliations and maintain financial logs.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including NAV, and statements of assets, liabilities and P&L.
• Ensure fund income and expenses are accrued in line with accounting standards.
• Process capital activity including calls, distributions, transfers, rollups and commitments accurately and timely.
• Derive pricing for portfolio investments and update status reports.
• Manage daily cash flow of trades and monitor fund cash-flows; process cash movements related to capital activity.
• Prepare bespoke reports addressing client requests.
• Independently review cash, portfolio and capital reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and maintain investor information including payment models and contacts.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Review Booking Journal Entries basis bank statements and client
• Review of Bank Reconciliation and maintaining the respective financial logs
• Review & Prepare monthly financial reporting package for the Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds, including the determination of "Net Asset Value" and prepare the Statement of Asset and Liabilities and Profit and Loss Statement
• Ensuring fund income and expenses, including management and performance fees, are accrued for and are in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Accurate and timely processing of all capital activities including calls and distributions, transfers, rollups, capital commitments and calls.
• Derive pricing for portfolio investments. Updating status reports.
• Cash Management-managing the daily cash flow of trades and monitoring fund cash-flows. Process incoming and outgoing cash movements related to capital activity
• Reporting-preparing bespoke reports to address client requests.
• Independently review and complete cash, portfolio and capital reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies
