NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a Certified Trainer with deep expertise in Medical Coding to lead ICD and CPT training for our Chennai-based team. The role requires 7-8 years in coding with 3-4 years in training, CPC certification, and strong English communication.

You will develop training content, conduct audits of charts, and collaborate with Supervisors/Training Manager to implement updates across EM multispecialty and surgical coding domains. MS Excel/PowerPoint are essential tools.

Competenze

• 7-8 years of experience in Medical Coding with 3-4 years in training
• Experience in training ICD and CPT with awareness of latest updates
• Preferred specialty: EM Multispecialty and Surgery
• Certification: CPC certified
• Proficient in English
• Willing to learn new specialties and train resources
• Expert in content creation and tracking changes
• MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge required
• Responsible for all levels of training including client-specific and industry updates by coordinating with Supervisors/Training Manager
• Flexible to audit charts processed by new hires and supervise audits
• Nice to have: evaluate employee performance
• Nice to have: develop onboarding programs
• Nice to have: research updates and teaching methods
• Nice to have: create training programs to address skill gaps

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibility:

• Certified Trainer with minimum of 7-8 years of Experience in Medical Coding field with 3-4 year relevant work experience.
• Should have experience in training ICD and CPT and should we aware of the latest updates
• Preferred Specialty – EM Multispecialty and Surgery
• Certification – CPC certified
• Proficient in English is must.
• Flexible to take up New specialty learnings when and where required and train the resources
• Expert in creating content and track the changes
• MS Excel and MS Powerpoint knowledge is must
• Must be responsible in doing all levels of training including Client specifics, Industry Updates and General coding Training by coordinating with the Supervisors/ Training Manager
• Must be flexible to do audits of charts processed by the new hires, any new specialty work done by the team and regular audits as and when required.
• Good to have - Evaluate employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking
• Good to have - Develop onboarding programs for new employees.
