Job summary

Synectics APAC in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks a SAP BPC/EPM Consultant to design, configure and optimize planning and reporting solutions, build frontend BPC components with EPM Excel functions and Report Editor, and ensure robust data integration with BW/4HANA.

The role demands 6–10 years in SAP BPC, at least two full-cycle implementations, strong FP&A knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions; you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of SAP BPC consulting/technical experience.
• Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP BPC implementations.
• Proven experience delivering BPC/analytics solutions in production environments.
• Strong FP&A functional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure SAP BPC/EPM planning and reporting solutions.
• Build and maintain BPC frontend solutions using EPM Excel functions and Report Editor.
• Perform basic BPC configuration including Business Rules, Script Logic, Business Process Flows (BPFs), and Work Status.
• Develop and manage advanced Excel-based reporting, planning templates, formulas, and macros.
• Integrate offline Excel workbooks with SAP BPC/EPM, including data imports, exports, data maps, and data sources.
• Develop and integrate Excel macros with EPM to automate data entry, validation, and reporting processes.
• Understand business requirements and prepare appropriate technical implementation proposals.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable BPC solutions.
• Support and enhance SAP BPC Planning applications and underlying BW/4HANA objects.
• Troubleshoot application and reporting issues and provide effective solutions.

Required Experience

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA objects is an advantage.

Good to Have

• Experience in the Media industry.


• Knowledge of media-specific financial processes such as Amortization.


• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA.


• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow processes.
