BOUNTEOUS DIGITAL PRIVATE LIMITED in Gurugram is seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Specialist to lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives across Azure environments, focusing on VM migrations, IaC, and hybrid connectivity.

You will design secure Azure landing zones, develop Terraform modules, automate with PowerShell and Azure CLI, manage Ansible configurations, and implement CI/CD pipelines with governance and strong security practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on Azure cloud migration project experience.
• Strong Terraform and IaC principles knowledge.
• Linux system administration and VM provisioning experience.
• Scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.

Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Specialist to lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration initiatives across Azure environments. The role requires strong expertise in VM migrations, Infrastructure as Code, hybrid connectivity, automation, and operational governance, ensuring reliable and secure cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Migration & Architecture:

• Lead end-to-end VM migrations, including sizing, dependency mapping, and post-migration validation
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
• Design secure and scalable Azure landing zones and hybrid connectivity solutions

2. Infrastructure as Code & Automation:

• Develop and manage Terraform modules, state management, and environment guardrails
• Implement automation using PowerShell and Azure CLI with proper error handling and idempotency
• Manage configuration automation using Ansible playbooks and roles

3. Azure & Hybrid Infrastructure:

• Work with Azure core services, networking, and identity/access management
• Integrate on-prem infrastructure with Azure using secure connectivity patterns
• Provision and manage IaaS VMs and core infrastructure components

4. CI/CD & Repository Management:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
• Implement deployment strategies, approvals, rollback mechanisms, and change controls
• Follow best practices in Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control hygiene

5. Operations & Governance:

• Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Support incident management and operational stability
• Apply OS hardening, patching, and system troubleshooting best practices

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud migration projects
• Deep knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Experience with Linux system administration and VM provisioning
• Strong scripting experience using PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Experience with Ansible configuration management
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and release governance
• Excellent communication skills and strong ownership mindset .
