Job Description

1. Provide IT infrastructure & application operations for Manufacturing (i4.0) IT applications.
2. Troubleshoot Manufacturing IT application and infrastructure-related incidents.
3. Close collaboration with the application development team, infrastructure team, and network team to provide day-to-day operations support for the application.
4. Quality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined service levels and KPIs.
5. Monitor system performance and ensure application availability.
6. Collaboration with onsite/offshore teams and customer coordinators, stakeholder management, technical documentation, and training delivery.
7. Ensure customer satisfaction, escalation management in the services delivered, and continuous improvement of services.
8. Provide extended support for planned maintenance and on-call readiness support.
9. Should be able to work in shifts and travel to customer locations for business needs.
10. Ensure the infrastructure (servers used by the application) is compliant with the Bosch Security Advisory.
11. Conduct the release management tasks proactively to ensure a smooth release deployment.
12. Provide timely communication on outages to stakeholders.
13. Should coordinate all the changes in the production system.
14. Analyze the trend and strengthen the monitoring.

Qualifications

What you bring:

1. Strong basic knowledge of Linux Operating System (RHEL 7/8/9).
2. Strong knowledge of Configuration Management Tools like Ansible and Puppet.
3. Shell scripting.
4. ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
5. Strong basics of networking.
6. Strong basic knowledge of MariaDB Clusters.

Added value if you have:

1. Application and infrastructure monitoring tools (ICINGA / Prometheus / ELK).
2. Network infrastructure (VPN, IPsec, Firewall, Load balancing setup, and security implementation).
3. Database Administration (Oracle / MySQL / Mongo).
4. IoT / IT for Manufacturing – i4.0 concepts.
5. Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies.
