• Support BOM changes per engineering and product management requirements.
• Assist costing calculations, updates, and reporting for materials.
• Generate and distribute reports on BOMs, inventory, costing, and master data KPIs.
• Work with engineering, product management, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure data processes comply with internal controls and audits.
• Perform data cleansing and updates as needed.
• Provide user training on S4 Hana BOM and master data processes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous and proactiveBOM Support / Master Data Specialistto join our team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing Bill of Materials (BOM) and master data within S4 Hana, ensuring data integrity, supporting costing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

The Role

• BOM Management:Create, update, and maintain BOM data in S4 Hana to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Master Data Administration:Assist with maintenance of master data, including materials, parts, and related attributes.
• Data Integrity & Quality:Regularly audit and validate BOM and master data to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
• Change Management:Support documentation and implementation of BOM changes as per engineering and product management requirements.
• Costing Support:Assist with costing calculations, updates, and reporting for materials and assemblies in S4 Hana.
• Reporting & Analytics:Generate and distribute regular reports on BOMs, inventory, costing, and master data KPIs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with engineering, product management, and supply chain teams to support project and product needs.
• Process Compliance:Ensure all BOM and master data processes comply with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
• Data Clean-up:Support data cleansing and updates as needed.
• User Support & Training:Provide assistance and training to team members on S4 Hana BOM and master data processes.
• Detail-oriented & Accurate:Meticulous in maintaining and validating large volumes of data.
• Proficiency in S4 Hana & MS Excel:Comfortable navigating ERP systems (especially S4 Hana) and performing data tasks in Excel.
• Analytical Mindset:Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and interpreting technical information.
• Effective Communicator:Able to clearly explain data issues and processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Organized & Self-motivated:Manages multiple priorities efficiently, works independently, and meets deadlines reliably.
