Boeing PS & S team is currently looking for a Associate Programmer Analyst (Salesforce Developer) to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. Programmer Analysts at Boeing ensure that the fleet at the world’s largest aerospace company continues to meet reliability and safety standards by contributing to the development and maintenance of in-house software and programs essential for the smooth functioning of the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with the business & Product Specialist to understand technical needs and devise appropriate solutions. Demonstrate effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Modify, improve, or implement new functionality and keep activities on track for timely delivery.
• Lead through process transformation and leverage current digital trends.
• Independently take up and participate in full life cycle development, including requirement gathering, document preparation, end-to-end solution design, functional spec preparation, testing, realization, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising business SMEs, Architects, Developers, and SIs on current processes and propose solutions to enhance current systems.
• Participate in project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues.
• Develop software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments.

Accuracy and accountability are key. You will be expected to:

• Work under general direction as part of an agile development team.
• Have experience with pair-programming, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other XP engineering practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 4 to 6 years of total experience in IT or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 – 3 years of experience on Salesforce Lightning Platform.
• At least 1 year’s hands-on experience working as a Salesforce Developer on Salesforce Platform.
• At least 1 year’s hands-on experience designing and developing solutions on Salesforce Service Cloud.
• At least 1 year’s hands-on experience designing and developing solutions on Salesforce Experience Cloud (Customer communities).
• At least 1 year’s hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer (Apex, SOQL, VF Pages, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components).
• At least 1 year’s experience implementing solutions using Salesforce Coding Best Practices and Standards.
• Hands-on experience defining and implementing data sharing model (custom sharing and sharing calculations).
• Hands-on experience of integration with other platforms/systems using SOAP/REST/Platform Event based architecture.
• Able to leverage OOB solutions and configurations (workflow rules, process builder, flows, data security, validations).
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with asynchronous apex (Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex, Batch Apex, Future Methods).
• Ability to pick up new technologies and tools.

Preferred Certifications:
The below certifications would be desirable:

• Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
• Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., B.E/B Tech./MCA).
• 4 to 6 years of experience in IT or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
