Job summary

Pradeepit Global Consulting Private Limited in Bangalore invites a BODS Developer to join our team. We seek 4-6 years of experience with SAP BODS and data migration to SAP S/4/HANA/ECC, and strong SQL knowledge.

You will work on ETL development, datastore connections, and integration with SAP S/4 and SaaS applications. The role is WFO initially and may move to hybrid after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP BODS 4.2 and 4.1 versions.
• Data migration from ECC or legacy sources to SAP S/4 HANA or ECC targets using BODS.
• Creation of datastore connections, installation and upgrade.
• Extracting/writing data to JSON and XML structures.
• Knowledge of data integration lifecycle with incremental/CDC logic.
• Various transformations in SAP BODS.
• Developing real-time interfaces like IDOC, BAPI with BODS.
• DBA activity: database creation and monitoring growth; troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating with SAP S/4 and SaaS applications.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Flexible, able to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented, collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP BODS mappings and jobs.
• Migrate data from ECC/legacy sources to SAP targets.
• Create and upgrade datastore connections and jobs.
• Develop real-time interfaces (IDOC/BAPI) with BODS.
• Coordinate with teams on data extraction requests.
• Ensure data quality and performance improvements.
• Provide SQL-based data analysis support.

Role & Responsibilities / Job Description

• Experience in SAP BODS 4.2 and 4.1 versions.
• Data Migration experience from ECC or any legacy sources to the Target S/4 HANA or ECC target systems using BODS.
• Experience in creating new datastore connections, Installation, and upgrade.
• Experience in extracting/writing data to jsons and xml file structures.
• Good understanding of Data Integration Lifecycle using SAP BODS data extraction with incremental/CDC logic.
• Experience on Various transformations of SAP BODS.
• Thorough knowledge of developing real time Interfaces like IDOC , BAPI SAP applications with BODS.
