Job summary

Chumling Ai seeks a BMS/Building Automation commissioning engineer to install, configure, and verify field devices for HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems. You will program control logic, test networks, and coordinate with MEP teams across project sites.

The role requires familiarity with BACnet/Modbus, reading electrical drawings, and a willingness to travel for commissioning across regions. On-the-job training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
• 1–4 years hands-on experience with BMS/BAS commissioning.
• Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or similar building automation protocols.
• Familiarity with Schneider EcoStruxure, Honeywell, Siemens Desigo, or similar BMS platforms.
• Comfortable reading electrical/MEP drawings.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel for commissioning assignments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission BMS/BAS field devices sensors, actuators, VAV/VFD controllers, DDC panels — for HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems
• Program and test control logic on EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) and related Schneider Electric platforms
• Configure and troubleshoot BACnet/Modbus network communication between field controllers and the central BMS server
• Conduct point-to-point testing, loop tuning, and functional performance testing (FPT) prior to handover
• Support site surveys and existing-building audits to assess controls infrastructure and retrofit scope
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, electrical contractors, and client facility teams during installation and commissioning phases
• Prepare commissioning reports, as-built documentation, and O&M handover packages
• Provide post-commissioning support and troubleshoot service calls at live sites (hospitality, commercial, institutional)
• Travel to project sites across Punjab and neighboring regions as required

Preferred candidate profile:

Specify required role expertise, previous job experience, or relevant certifications.

• Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field
• 1–4 years hands-on experience with BMS/BAS commissioning (freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply)
• Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or similar building automation protocols
• Familiarity with Schneider EcoStruxure, Honeywell, Siemens Desigo, or similar BMS platforms is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading electrical/MEP drawings and control schematics
• Willingness to work on-site and travel for commissioning assignments
• Good communication skills for coordinating with client-side facility teams and consultants
