Job summary

Johnson Controls in Pune seeks an Application Engineer (Hardware Design) for Datacenter projects. You will lead global BMS engineering efforts, review MEP drawings, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

You will own end-to-end project execution, generate shop drawings and BOMs, create BMS network diagrams, and coordinate with vendors. Strong hands-on hardware engineering and HVAC/BMS knowledge required.

Qualifications

• BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics or EC.
• Hands-on hardware engineering experience for Datacenter vertical.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and BMS systems for data centers.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP drawings and generate shop drawings for Datacenter projects (ACAD).
• Prepare IO lists, BOMs, and wiring diagrams for panels and controllers.
• Create BMS network diagrams and operation descriptions per specs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams; manage RFIs and BOQ finalization.
• Ensure QA and timely delivery of hardware packages for datacenter projects.

## BMS Hardware Design - DatacenterApplylocations: Pune-Maharashtra-Indiatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: WD30274842**Application Engineer (Hardware Design) – Datacenter****What you will do**The primary responsibility of this role is to lead global Data Center Building Management System (BMS) engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, customer requirements, and account-specific standards. The role requires independent ownership and execution of projects throughout the entire lifecycle, while serving as the first point of escalation for technical and project-related issues.
