Zusammenfassung

Johnson Controls India seeks a BMS Design Engineer to design BMS/IBMS systems for buildings and data centers, develop IO schedules and operation sequences, and review project specs.

You will coordinate with HVAC, Electrical and EPMS teams, select controllers and field devices, and prepare BOMs, submittals and commissioning support on site.

Minimum BE/ME with 3+ years in BMS architecture and Niagara platform knowledge is expected; remote/onsite options not specified.

Qualifikationen

• BE/ME in Instrumentation or Electrical/Electronics or Electronics & Communication.
• 3+ years of experience in BMS/automation across pharma, airports, commercial buildings or hospitals.
• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture, supervisory and DDC controllers, sensors and actuators.
• Niagara architecture, platform and controllers expertise.
• Experience in software programming and commissioning of Niagara controllers.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in industrial automation (SCADA/HMI) is an advantage.
• Experience in remote engineering, installation and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems.
• Experience on projects like pharma, airports, commercial buildings, hospitals.
• Must be a quick learner with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

What you will do

• Design BMS/IBMS systems for buildings and data centers.
• Prepare control schematics, network architecture, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop I/O schedules, points lists, and sequence of operations.
• Review project specifications and technical requirements.
• Select BMS controllers, sensors, and field devices.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical, EPMS, and Fire Alarm teams.
• Prepare BOM, technical submittals, and engineering documents.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell, or JCI systems.

What we look for

• BE/ME (Instrumentation / Electrical/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication)
• Minimum experience 3+ years
• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators etc.
• Strong knowledge of Niagara architecture, Platform, & controllers.
• Experience insoftware programming and commissioning of Niagara controllers.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience in the field of Industrial Automation (SCADA/HMI screens development) will be added an advantage
• Experience inremote engineering, installation and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems.
• Should have worked for BMS projects like pharmaceuticals, airports, commercial buildings, hospitals etc.
• Must be a quick learner & brilliant problem solving capabilities
• Proficient in written and verbal communication

• PreferredExperience in Building Automation System or BMS Design Engineering.
