Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking an experienced TMS Consultant to design, implement, and continuously improve client transportation management platforms across PAN India. You will research and adopt new technology solutions, ensure system resiliency, and deliver end-to-end TMS projects.

Role requires hands-on work with Blue Yonder TMS and other leading TMS platforms, API development, and strong collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Blue Yonder TMS or other major TMS platforms with strong implementation and support experience.
• Lead end-to-end implementations, designing transportation strategies, optimizing logistics processes, and bridging business requirements with technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder TMS, Oracle TMS, SAP TM, Manhattan TM, or One Network.
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into effective end-to-end TMS solutions.
• Configure and support transportation operations across FTL, LTL, Ocean, Air, and Rail modes.
• Configure strategy and optimizer files (TMOD) for advanced transportation planning scenarios.
• Strong functional expertise across TMS configuration, process flows, testing, and implementation.
• Deep understanding of upstream and downstream TMS integrations.
• Experience designing and developing APIs for data exchange across logistics systems.
• Experience integrating TMS with WMS platforms, including Blue Yonder WMS, Manhattan WMS, and third-party systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for WMS/TMS integration issues.
• Analyze and optimize transportation and logistics processes.
• Mandatory: Experience with tariff configuration and freight auction processes.
• Experience with transportation financial processes, including cost allocation, settlements, and approval workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with global business teams, IT teams, vendors, and partners in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, active listening, and business/technical recommendation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with business and IT leadership.
