Job description

Service Desk Support

Skill Level: 1-1.5 – Min 1-2 years of experience

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or equivalent experience
  2. Excellent communication skills
  3. Hands-on experience handling international customers, strong customer service skills
  4. Use an expert understanding of computer hardware, software & networking principles to troubleshoot issues
  5. Responding to IT support requests over the phone, chat & email
  6. Downloading, installing, and configuring software to meet user requirements
  7. Ensuring correct use of applications, networks, and equipment
  8. Testing and updating existing software
  9. Escalating advanced IT support cases
  10. Maintaining IT documentation including network and user details
  11. Documenting records of actions taken
  12. Fixing hardware issues including coordination for replacing equipment and peripherals such as computers, terminals, network & server devices
  13. Ensuring computer network’s optimal performance
  14. Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
  15. Prior knowledge of working in a Support Center or Service Desk environment
  16. Analyzing issues and determining correct software or hardware solutions
  17. Understanding of ITIL concepts or ITIL foundation certified
  18. Understanding of Microsoft applications, O365 & AD
  19. Should be able to work independently or with limited supervision
