Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru seeks a BIOS Lead Engineer to drive end-to-end firmware validation for networking hardware. The role requires 8+ years in testing across RTOS/Embedded Linux/Unix, with strong embedded systems validation expertise.

You will validate BIOS/UEFI boot sequences and platform components, perform SDK/diagnostics testing, and develop modular Python test scripts to ensure hardware reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of testing in RTOS/RT Linux/Unix environments is mandatory.
• Strong background in embedded systems validation and hardware firmware validation.
• End-to-end firmware validation for AMD/Intel PLFS.
• Platform component validation for server and embedded platforms.
• BIOS/UEFI boot, configuration, and stability verification.
• SDK validation for networking hardware, and diag/diagnostics validation.
• Automation and scripting with Python for modular test design.

Role & responsibilities

JD of BIOS Lead Engineer:

• 8+ Years of Work Experience in testing any of the environment(RTOS/RT Linux/Linux/Unix) => Mandatory
• Strong background in Embedded systems validation.
• Firmware Validation: Hands-on experience in the end-to-end validation of firmware for AMD/Intel PLFS
• Platform Component Testing: Direct experience in validating critical server and embedded platform components:
• BIOS/UEFI: Verification of boot sequences, configuration settings, and platform stability.
• SDK (Software Development Kit) Validation: Testing the functionality and integration of SDKs provided for networking hardware.
• Diag (Diagnostics) Validation: Thorough testing of low-level diagnostic tools and stress utilities to ensure hardware integrity and fault detection.
• Automation and Scripting: Must be able to design and develop modular, automated test cases and scripts with Python.
