WSP India is seeking a skilled BIM Draughtsman with strong experience in MEP 3D BIM modelling to support design teams in Mumbai. The role involves creating coordinated models, performing clash detection/resolution, and developing parametric BIM families for design development.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in design/drafting, expertise in AutoCAD/Navisworks, and a good command of English. Willingness to work in a global firm and participate in short-term secondments to the UK is

Competenze

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications.
• 5+ years production experience in design, drafting and engineering with significant experience in a similar role.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with senior colleagues.

Job Description

• Prepare MEP 3D BIM coordinated models
• Clash detection and clash resolution
• Create Parametric BIM Families
• Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models

Responsibilities

• Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations
• Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualizations
• Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model

Qualifications

• Have good English communication skills
• Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.
• Be computer literate.
• Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months to the UK Must have good working knowledge of Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spread sheets, e-mail, web-enabled applications and database software.
• Ability to plan and manage his/her workload Lateral thinking
• Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications
• 5+ year's production experience in design, drafting and engineering with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record
