Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer with 5–15 years of experience for our Mumbai/Bangalore team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality BIM and CAD outputs to international standards, with exposure to global projects and occasional site work.

You will coordinate CAD/BIM inputs, read engineering drawings, and develop 3D models under limited supervision while contributing to project deliverables and BIM compliance across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or engineering degree with relevant experience in BIM design.
• Experience delivering CAD/BIM outputs with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary project delivery and CAD/BIM standards.

Atkins Global Technology Centre (GTC) is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer with 5 to 15 years of experience to join our office (Bangalore & Mumbai). This role involves working on multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on delivering high-quality BIM and CAD outputs that meet international standards. Opportunities within our team range from consultancy services to client-side project delivery, as well as site supervision and operations, offering diverse responsibilities and exposure to global projects.

Your Role

• Electrical BIM modeller who should be able to produce drawings and BIM model with minimum supervision
• Co-ordination of CAD and BIM model input to multi-disciplinary projects
• Preparation and presentation of progress for discussion at meetings
• Should be well versed with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary and multiregional project to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM Standard
• Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings & specifications
• Ability to work using Engineers calculations and design in producing drawings / 3D modelling
• Knowledge of Building design processes working within a multiple discipline engineering environment, and within a project and commercially focused business;
• Identify, interpret and apply required industry/ client/ internal CAD/BIM standards. To ensure that our finished product is Project, Client and BIM compliant
• Work independently and take proactive initiative

• Able to present / represent their technical work
• Working knowledge of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management System

About You

• Diploma/Degree with minimum 5 - 15 years of relevant experience
• BIM Designer with relevant Diploma/Engineering as required.
• Delivering of CAD/BIM work with minimal supervision.
