Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements for the respective posts:

• Personal Assistant (PA): Graduate with Hindi stenography speed of 100 w.p.m and Hindi/English typing speed of 30 w.p.m. Computer certificate (AICTE/DOEACC/NIELIT or 'O' Level) desirable.
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Intermediate (10+2) with typing speed of 8000 key‑depressions per hour. Computer certificate (ADCA or AICTE/DOEACC/NIELIT 'O' Level) desirable.
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Intermediate (10+2) with Hindi/English typing speed of 30 w.p.m. Computer certificate (AICTE/DOEACC/NIELIT or 'O' Level) desirable.
• Stenographer: Graduate with Hindi stenography speed of 80 w.p.m and Hindi/English typing speed of 30 w.p.m. Computer certificate (AICTE/DOEACC/NIELIT or 'O' Level) desirable.

Age Limit

The age criteria for the posts as on 01 August 2025 are as follows:

• Minimum Age: 18 years (for DEO/LDC), 21 years (for Steno/PA)
• Maximum Age: 37 years (General/EWS Male), 40 years (General/EWS Female), 40 years (BC/EBC Male & Female), 42 years (SC/ST Male & Female)

Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Vidhan Parishad rules.

Selection Process
