The Bihar Vidhan Parishad has released the Stage-II Admit Card for the recruitment of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Assistant Branch Officer (ABO), and Stenographer posts for the 2024 examination. Candidates who have qualified the Stage-I exam can now download their admit card for the upcoming Stage-II examination scheduled in January 2025.

Stage-I Exam Date (ABO, DEO): 2024-10-27 (Online Payment: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS)

Stage-II Exam Date (ABO): 2025-01-29 to 30

Stage-II Exam Date (DEO / Stenographer): 2025-01-30

Stage-II Admit Card Release Date: 2025-01-24

The recruitment is for a total of 26 posts divided as follows:

• Assistant Branch Officer (ABO) – 19 posts
• Data Entry Operator (DEO) – 5 posts
• Stenographer – 2 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Check below the essential educational qualifications required for each post:

Assistant Branch Officer (ABO)

Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university with typing proficiency (Hindi & English) at 30 WPM and O Level or equivalent.

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Passed 12th (Intermediate) from recognized board with typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour and O Level or equivalent.

Stenographer

Bachelor's degree in any stream with stenography speed of 80 WPM (Hindi), typing speed 30 WPM (Hindi & English), and O Level or equivalent.

Age Limit

Age limits as on 01 January 2024 are as follows:

• Minimum Age: 18 years for DEO, 21 years for ABO & Stenographer
• Maximum Age: 37 years for Male (UR/OBC/EWS)
• Age Relaxation: Up to 40 years for UR Female, BC/EBC Male & Female; 42 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection Process

The selection will be made through a written examination followed by a interview round. Candidates must qualify in each stage to proceed further.
