Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer in India to develop and maintain analytics modules using GCP Looker. You will design LookML dashboards, write SQL, and build visualizations embedded in our product offerings, enabling self-service analytics for customers.

The role requires collaboration across teams, strong data modeling, and a focus on delivering scalable analytics within a hybrid in-office setup in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in GCP Looker (Looker Core, not Studio).
• Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
• Experience with LookML and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytics modules within TAC analytics platform.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to develop and maintain critical analytics modules within the TAC analytics platform. The majority of this role is developing code and visualizations using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Looker product to provide our customers with a productized and self-service capable analytics solution embedded in our product offerings.

• Proven experience in GCP Looker (Looker Core, not Studio)
• LookML and User-defined Dashboard Expertise
• SQL development and core competency in modeling data relationships
• Expert in all aspects of GCP Looker development
• Experience in other BI platforms a plus
• GCP BigQuery experience a plus
• Ability to gain expertise in multiple business data domains
• Problem-solving and application support capabilities
• Team-oriented
• Effective written and verbal communicator
