Job summary

Splashbi seeks a BI Developer to design, implement, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI/SplashBI in a Hyderabad-based role. You will craft data models and visualizations to meet analytics needs and work with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights.

You will optimize SQL queries, ensure data accuracy, and support data integration efforts across BI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytics on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries, joins, views, aggregations, and optimization.
• Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytical reports.
• Strong data visualization understanding and best practices.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic ETL and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI/SplashBI.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic.
• Develop data models and visualizations to support business reporting and analytics requirements.
• Analyze large datasets and transform raw data into meaningful insights for business users.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Create visually appealing dashboards with a strong focus on usability and user experience.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization of reports and dashboards.
• Support enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for BI solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and ETL teams for data integration and validation.
• Perform data analysis and validation to support business decisions and operational reporting.
• Prepare technical documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Participate in project discussions, requirement analysis, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with cross-functional and remote teams to deliver analytics solutions on time.

Required Skills
