Job summary

NCR Voyix in Chennai is seeking a data engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows. You will work with Databricks, Spark, Python, and Azure Data Factory to build a lakehouse architecture and deliver timely insights through Power BI dashboards.

Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and secure data access. Stay current with cloud data engineering practices and CI/CD workflows using Git.

Qualifications

• Data engineering, Python development, ETL pipelines, cloud data platforms, governance, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Databricks/Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, and Power BI for end-to-end data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Databricks, Spark, and ADF.
• Implement data lakehouse architecture and optimize storage and retrieval for performance and cost.
• Write efficient Python code for data processing and automation tasks.
• Orchestrate workflows using Azure Data Factory and integrate with other Azure services.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across data solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data products.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for high availability and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud data engineering.
• Experience with data lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git.
