Job summary

Techila Global is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Python-based automated test frameworks for robotic and AI-enabled systems. You will create tests across functional, integration, system, and performance areas, validating AI models and their integration with hardware and software components.

The role requires collaboration with software, robotics, ML, and data science teams, building regression suites, and ensuring production readiness through CI/CD

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain Python based automated test frameworks for robotic and AI enabled systems.
• Create and execute functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and reliability tests.
• Develop automated tests to validate AI/ML model behavior, inference results, accuracy, robustness, and edge cases.
• Validate AI models against defined acceptance criteria, datasets, expected outputs, and performance thresholds.
• Test the integration of AI models with robotic hardware, software, sensors, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate end-to-end testing across robot software, APIs, AI components, and hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Robotics Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product teams to resolve defects.
• Build and maintain automated regression suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API and data validation for AI/robotics services.
• Monitor AI model performance across different datasets, environments, and software/model versions.
