ERM Placement Services is seeking a Supervising Associate for Global Delivery Services, Benchmarking. The role focuses on end‑to‑end benchmarking across Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Legal and requires coordinating data collection, validation, and analysis to drive data‑driven decisions.

You will collaborate with global colleagues, develop AI‑enabled benchmarking capabilities, and contribute to enterprise transformation initiatives while managing client relationships and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6 to 9 years of professional experience.
• MBA or related Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives insight‑led benchmarking engagements, translating data into executive insights and actionable recommendations.
• Manages content builds including primary and secondary research, planning, and risk mitigation.

Job role

The Global Delivery Services, Benchmarking Team Supervising Associate is part of a global team responsible for providing support to pursuits and engagements on the end-to-end delivery of process benchmarking. Having a functional understanding and expertise of business processes like Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Legal, Shared Services and Cyber Security, the Supervising Associate partners with field practitioners to understand the project objective, identify relevant metrics for the clients and supports client data collection, validation and benchmarking analysis to identify the specific improvement areas, driving insight-led benchmarking assessments that enable data‑driven decision making and support enterprise transformation initiatives. The role contributes to building scalable, AI‑enabled benchmarking capabilities and integrating benchmarking insights into broader process optimization and BPM engagements.

This role also includes responsibilities to collaborate with the development of sector/process area related benchmarking content and network with global colleagues within Benchmarking team as well as client‑facing teams.

Job responsibilities

Deliver client service(s):

• Drives insight‑led benchmarking engagements, translating data into executive‑level insights and actionable recommendations, highlighting performance gaps, improvement opportunities, and transformation priorities in a wide variety of processes like Finance, Supply Chain, IT, HR, Legal and Cyber Security, etc.
• Manages and drives content builds including primary and secondary research, planning, and risk mitigation
• Lends subject matter expertise during customer interactions to understand the requirement and identify relevant metrics and KPIs and peer groups; map client processes to benchmarking frameworks
• Identifies collaboration opportunities with the global benchmarking team to ensure program and project objectives are met

Relationship Management:

• Builds and sustains enduring relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and shaping opportunities to embed benchmarking into pursuits and transformation programs, enabling proactive demand creation across service lines
• Continuously drives awareness of the global benchmarking service offering with various service line stakeholders to ensure the team has a continuous stream of engagement support work

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

• Manages content and data, while maintaining compliance with firm policy (e.g., data privacy, Q&RM, Independence), including the responsible use of AI and analytics tools
• Performs advanced benchmarking analytics and develops high‑quality deliverables integrating inputs from analytics, content specialists, and client teams
• Leads multiple internal improvement efforts focusing on improving benchmarking efficiency and effectiveness, identifying opportunities of leveraging AIenabled solutions and automation
• Participates in quality reviews and workshops to ensure highest quality client deliverables
• Actively works to enhance proprietary dataset by employing wide variety of techniques like client data collection and third‑party data evaluation and purchase
• Leverages GenAI tools to enhance benchmarking workflows, and drive scalable artifacts and insights

Team Management & People Management:

• Actively manages assigned team members, assigning tasks/projects and managing results
• Coaches analysts on benchmarking activities, relationship management, and project management approach, and reviews their work
• Interfaces with team members across all global locations via regular and frequent interactions to ensure the team is effectively integrated and highly motivated
• Drives collaboration between GDS and global team members to ensure communication, information sharing and robust development of technology‑based solutions
• Proactively promotes an inclusive work environment and flexibility to enable team members to achieve both their personal and professional goals

Knowledge and Skills Requirement

• Good knowledge and understanding of Finance and Supply Chain function. Exposure to other areas like IT, HR, Shared Services, Legal and Cyber Security is a value‑add
• Prior experience and hands‑on in business process transformation tools and techniques
• Strong customer service skills to support request management and data collection
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to aggregate, analyze, and synthesize large datasets into actionable insights
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and experience in insight generation
• Demonstrates ability to identify and evaluate emerging tools and technologies, including AIenabled solutions, relevant for benchmarking operational and strategic priorities
• Proven ability to interact with leaders, stakeholders and staff; strong presentation skills; ability to present to a multicultural audience
• Proven ability to participate and work effectively as part of a team, including proactive collaboration in a globally distributed environment
• Demonstrated ability to plan and successfully execute multiple, complex projects across borders
• Self‑motivated, with strong work ethics; proactive in identifying issues and opportunities

Education

• M.B.A. or related Master's degree preferred
