Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of industry experience as a service provider, within a refinery, or through full-service consulting in the downstream, midstream, and/or chemicals sector
  • Proficiency in data analysis, benchmarking, or business performance measurement
  • Advanced fluency in financial analysis, with experience in product economics and financial modelling
  • Experience working with public company data (e.g., SEC reports) to develop insights
  • Familiarity with third-party data sources such as S&P Global, Opis, Solomon, or equivalent providers
  • Proven ability to partner with diverse stakeholders to deliver results
  • Proficiency in data management, quality control, and variance analysis riho"riho>

About the position

Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for Benchmarking Analyst: Realized Prices to join the Engine's Innovation team; this role will be based in Chevron's office in Bengaluru.

Working Hours and Location

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.

DMC Benchmarking Analyst will support Chevron’s ENGINE group by compiling, validating, and analyzing benchmarking data across the downstream, midstream, and chemicals businesses, to enable business decisions, including competitive goals setting. This role will focus on collecting financial & operational benchmarking data to support the setting of competitive and realistic targets. The analyst will collaborate closely with business leads, global stakeholders, and subject matter experts to deliver high- quality benchmarking reports and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
