Job summary

Virtusa seeks a senior banking domain lead with 8–15+ years of experience to drive end-to-end business ownership across lending, payments, cards, and related domains. You will guide IT and delivery teams, ensure regulatory alignment, and support audits and regulatory reviews.

The role requires executive-level articulation of business needs, risk-aware decision making, and collaboration with senior stakeholders across risk, operations, and IT to optimize customer impact and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years in banking/financial services.
• Experience across Lending, Payments, Cards, Treasury, Trade Finance, Core Banking, Digital Channels.
• Regulatory knowledge including SAMA regulations, AML/KYC, compliance, audit requirements.
• End-to-end banking workflows across multiple domains.
• Engages senior leaders, compliance, risk, operations, IT.
• Articulation of business needs and trade-offs at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of business authority across major banking domains.
• Provide clear business direction to IT and delivery teams.
• Validate that solutions meet business, regulatory, and operational needs.
• Resolve cross-domain business conflicts and ambiguities.
• Support requirement definition with deep domain insight.
• Participate in UAT, business validation, and go-live readiness.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments.
• Advise leadership on business impact, risks, and trade-offs of initiatives.
