Job summary

Michael Page in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced backup engineer to manage L3 backup operations, ensuring high availability for multi-petabyte storage environments.

The role requires strong storage, virtualization and networking knowledge, plus scripting in PowerShell and Python for automation. Certifications such as Commvault/ Veeam / AZ900 / ITIL v4 are preferred. Long-term assignment (>=3 years) on Michael Page payroll with 4-shift pattern.

Qualifications

• 9–14 years of storage/backup experience.
• Willingness to work in a 4-shift pattern.
• Long-term deployment on client projects.
• Experience with multi-petabyte, cross-region environments.

Responsibilities

• L3 Backup administration and escalation.
• Deep knowledge of storage, virtualization, and networking.
• Manage multi-petabyte, cross-region backup environments.
• Develop automation scripts with PowerShell or Python.
• Hold or pursue advanced backup/IT certifications.

• 9 -14 years experience
• Ok with shift work (4 shifts pattern).
• This will be long term (at least 3 years) in Michael Page payroll and deployed to leading Product Base FMCG Client.
