Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a backend engineer to design and implement production-grade Python services. You will drive low-level architecture, write clean, testable code, and review teammates’ work to ensure scalability and performance.

You will mentor others on design patterns and Python best practices while improving reliability and observability of systems. The role involves collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features and contribute to engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade backend services using Python


• Own and contribute to low-level design (LLD) including architecture decisions and documentation


• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices

Required Skills

• Experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and modern Python typing


• Asynchronous programming using asyncio or async frameworks


• Data processing experience using Polars or similar columnar frameworks
