• Proven expertise in designing and delivering high-availability distributed systems in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong backend engineering capability in Java and Spring Boot, or equivalent technologies used to build scalable service-based platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for streaming architectures and event-driven processing in near real-time environments.
• Strong knowledge of Redis for caching, distributed coordination and low-latency application design.
• Solid experience with MongoDB, including document modelling, query optimisation and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of Amazon Web Services and cloud-native engineering principles, including secure deployment and operational scalability.
• Strong knowledge of resilience patterns, system observability, incident troubleshooting and production engineering best practices.
• Ability to contribute quickly in a hands-on specialist role, partnering effectively with technical stakeholders and driving delivery with minimal supervision.
