Soul AI invites top backend engineers to join its Experts Community for a contract-based opportunity. You will design RESTful APIs, manage server-side logic, and work with SQL/NoSQL databases while collaborating with frontend teams.

This role offers remote work with onsite options at client locations in Hyderabad or Bangalore; projects range from 2 to 12 months with freelancing flexibility. Strong emphasis on security, scalability, and cloud deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement RESTful APIs, server-side logic, and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Optimize backend performance and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ensure security, compliance, and collaborate with frontend teams on solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code, conduct reviews, and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Required

Skills:

• Proficiency in backend frameworks (Node.js, Django, Flask) and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Git, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of API design, unit testing, and security best practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Graph SQL.
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and DevOps tools (CI/CD, Terraform).
