Job summary

Anaira Intelligent Technologies Private Limited is seeking a backend engineer to build the backend of our platform, focusing on services, APIs, and workflows that carry risk decisions across the lifecycle and integrate with AI agents and automation.

You will design scalable, secure, and observable backend platforms, work closely with product, domain experts, and customers, and mentor engineers while contributing to architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend development experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and polyglot persistence patterns.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and API-first design.
• Security awareness (JWT/OAuth2) and testing (JUnit 5, Mockito).

• Build systems that integrate with AI agents and automation workflows
• Design scalable, secure, and observable backend platforms
• Work closely with product, domain experts, and customers
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions

Skills

• Java Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data JPA) and microservices architecture
• PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and polyglot persistence
• Docker, Kubernetes, and API-first design
• Security (JWT, OAuth2); testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers)
• Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing)

Preferred

• Neo4j, Elasticsearch, event sourcing, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design
