Job summary

Idfc First Bank Limited is seeking a Back End Engineer to join the Data & Analytics function. You will develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Node.js, and Golang, contributing to AI-driven solutions and architecture decisions.

You will collaborate with multiple teams including Frontend, Data Science, and ML to support model development, optimize performance, and ensure high code quality. Mentorship and code reviews are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduation in BCA or B.Tech or BSC.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in backend development using Python, Node.js, Golang, or similar asynchronous programming languages.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design and backend architecture.
• Familiarity with full-stack development and modern frontend technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable backend code with asynchronous patterns.
• Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Software Developers.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, optimize queries.
• Stay updated with full-stack technologies, especially React and Python.
• Contribute to backend and frontend end-to-end implementation.
