Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in India to join an autonomous Agile team and help build scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot. You will work in a fast-paced environment to deliver reliable SaaS software.

You should have 7–12 years of experience, a technical degree (B-Tech/BCA/MCA), and hands-on familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment tools. Mentoring teammates and a focus on quality are valued.

• Technical Graduate (B-Tech/BCA/MCA).
• Experience 7-12 years in software development.
• Backend micro-services with JVM (Java/Kotlin) and Spring Boot.

Anaplan are looking for a motivated SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER to work in an autonomous Agile team with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and honesty. • Actively champion and promote best practices for developing and delivering reliable SaaS services into production safely, and with zero-downtime.

More About You:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to craft well architected and easy to reason about applications regardless of the “tier”.
• Expertise writing scalable backend micro-services using the JVM with Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• You will have a strong focus on writing tests and will have a clear view of how and why different kinds of tests should be developed and run.
• Experience using deployment tools/technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Chef or Puppet is advantageous.
