Job summary

Motive is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software for Workforce Management. You will own projects end to end, contribute to technical decisions, and solve complex engineering problems with a focus on reliability and impact.

You will support one of Motive's fastest growing product lines with strong collaboration across product and design teams. Day-to-day work includes building 0->1 features, maintaining existing systems, and driving innovation in partnership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and building distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, APIs, and software development fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, microservices, testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Ability to independently drive projects and make sound technical decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
