Job summary

Auric AI is building a battlefield AI vision platform that converts satellite imagery into actionable intelligence, and we are hiring backend engineers who think from first principles and can design scalable systems. You will work on high-throughput ingestion, automated preprocessing, model inference services, and secure data delivery for thousands of users.

We value depth of thinking, pragmatic engineering, and comfort with ambiguity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with good exposure to ML or AI systems in production.
• Strong in at least one backend language (Python, Go, Node, Java).
• Ability to design and implement distributed services.
• Good understanding of data storage, queues, caching, API design.
• Ability to optimize systems for throughput, reliability, and latency.
• Experience building projects/tools outside of work.
• Comfort with cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containers (Docker/K8s).

This role is for someone who enjoys solving hard problems at the intersection of distributed systems, real-time image processing, and AI deployment — regardless of years of experience.
