Job summary

Tesseract Imaging in Navi Mumbai / Mumbai region is hiring a Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to build robust backend services using Python and Django/Flask/FastAPI.

You will design RESTful APIs, work with SQL and NoSQL databases, implement security and authentication, and collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA to ensure scalable, reliable applications.

The role offers a full-time, office-based position with exposure to AR/VR tech and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience in RESTful API development and integration.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Good understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
